Print Study - Class Instructor or Group Leader
Hours and Availability
The Print Study Room is available for classes and other groups from 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday.
Making an Appointment
An appointment must be made at least two weeks in advance; longer advance notification is highly recommended. Appointments must be made through the Curator of Education: cass@ccp.library.arizona.edu or 520-626-5211. Please provide instructor's name, address, phone, e-mail, affiliation, class name and number, number of students, and the date and time requested for Print Study.
At the time the appointment is made with the Curator of Education, the instructor should discuss his/her class needs, including a detailed description of the desired theme and any related assignment. The Curator of Education has access to the collection database and is available for consultation in planning the selection of photographs for use by classes.
On the day of your appointment
- Education staff will be present to assist you, address your class about the work selected, and answer questions during your appointment.
- You will be asked to fill out and sign an information form and agreement to safeguard the photographs during your Print Study experience. Your signature indicates that you have discussed the importance of abiding by Print Study Room security rules with your students and that you will do everything possible to see that they comply.
- You will be asked for photo identification, which will be copied and kept on file.
- Students may bring paper and pencil into the Print Study Room. Prior discussion with the Curator of Education will also allow students to bring in a limited number of laptop computers.
- You and your students must leave all bags, packages, cameras, and other items in the first-floor lobby lockers.
